Motivational Monday!

Happy Monday readers! I hope you had an amazing weekend. Mine was quite incredible, as I was down in the Santa Cruz mountains for my program intensive. We had three days with Dr. R.H. Singh, who is kinda a big deal in India so I was trying to absorb as much wisdom as I could! The days are getting longer and the sunrises were absolutely beautiful. There was even a family of deer walking with us down the path to class! AMAZING.

Anyway, on to the web!

Josh Langley posted about five ways to trust the universe over at Mind Body Green. I am definitely struggling with this right now so I was happy to get this little nudge.

When I saw these healthier homemade pop tarts over at Peas and Thank You, my heart skipped a beat! Don’t they look delicious?

Jess from The Wellness Warrior is giving away a FREE ebook on green smoothies! There are over 80 recipes so you should definitely check it out.

I know I am a little late for Valentine’s Day stuff but this mix from Black Eiffel is super adorable.

And I will leave you with a incredible video of last year’s carnival in Rio de Janeiro. The tilt-video effect makes everyone look like little dolls!

Have a great week!

Motivational Monday!

Happy Monday readers!

Hope your Thanksgiving weekend was a wonderful one, filled with healthy + delicious food and cheerful friends + family. We are still playing host over here, but I wanted to quickly drop by and share some virtual goodies…

Hostelbookers featured a photo collection of 50 breakfasts from around the world. How fascinating to see what everyone is eating!

I may be a little late, but this Thanks + Giving mix from Black Eiffel is a sweet one to cook to.

A reader had asked me to include more slow cooker recipes, so here is a lovely one for this season: a sweet potato black bean chili from Your Full Plate.

Jessica from The Wellness Warrior has some great tips for making the perfect green smoothie.

My old-time favorite Crunchy Betty has started an AMAZING series on homemade gifts for the holidays! I have made a vow to be DIY or die this year, so the more inspiration the merrier!

And I will leave you with a photo from this weekend’s adventure…walking the golden gate bridge! It was super windy (hence the crazy hair) but absolutely beautiful. Walking across the ocean, soaking up the sun + seeing the San Francisco skyline reminded me of the many things I have to be thankful for ❤
