The Radiant Goddess Program…starting May 1!

Hello there readers!

I wanted to take a few minutes today and talk about one of my favorite e-courses: the Radiant Goddess Program from Goddess Guidebook. Leonie Dawson is a sparkly, bright and shiny woman that is out in the virtual world helping women heal, grow and claim their dreams. I have been a part of the Goddess Circle for the past year (check out the fun icon on the sidebar for more info), and I am inspired each week by the wonderful women who come together to share their challenges, goals and life journeys.

The Radiant Goddess Program was the first e-course I signed up for as part of the circle and it was FANTASTIC! No dogma, no shame about eating the “wrong” foods, no stress about pushing your body and mind too far. It is just about healthy eating, clean living and making baby steps each and every day of the program so that by the end of it, you feel like a shinier, more radiant person.

Not to mention the amazing videos you receive each day in your inbox, filled with sunshine, discussions about health and wellness, tips for the cleanse and all around good energy. There are also daily “assignments”, journal prompts and other goodies. Each morning starts with a Radiant Goddess meditation (only if you want, of course) and the content is super inspiring and insightful.

Ok, so what about the food? I know that is what most folks want to hear all about when thinking about doing a cleanse or health program. And I will tell you this: the food was AMAZING! All clean, healthy, gluten-free, vegan and high-raw (although Ayurvedis such as myself switched that up a bit!) The recipes are anti-inflammatory, delicious and nutritious and you are given enough recipes to make your own radiant goddess cookbook! I found new ideas for healthy desserts, smoothies and snacks and even some main dishes my (meat-eating) partner enjoyed.

On top of all this goodness, the illustrations, affirmations and energy that comes from this program is beautiful. You will feel supported one hundred percent of the way and I found the spiritual and emotional piece of this program super healing and unique.

Alright, this e-course starts Monday! And so here are the details:

You will receive all of the above for only $89! Seriously, as someone who doesn’t have a lot of extra money to spend, it is such an incredible investment. The radiant recipes alone are worth it, and to be supported and cared for by such a beautiful team of women is the icing on the (sugar-free, vegan and gluten-free) cake!

Ok, that’s all for today. Will you be joining me on Tuesday? I sure hope so 🙂

[as many of you know, i am a very proud affiliate of goddess guidebook and all of the amazing work that leonie does. i only support and promote things in the world that i truly believe in. so there!]

happy monday!

so here we are, at the beginning of the week and boy, was it a rocky start. today i had a series of frustrations that led to a mini breakdown and so what did i do? i threw on my sweater and took a walk. i live near a beautiful campus so i wandered around the grass-filled paths and found my special spot. it is a little stone bench by a stream and it is surrounded by redwood trees and eucalyptus. i sat there, closed my eyes and let the sun shine upon my face. i only spent 15 minutes there but when i left, i was more calm and feeling happier about my situation. what a little change of scenery can do!

here are some wonderful inspirations for your week!

the wonderful, marvelous goddess leonie strikes again! this time with a helpful article on how to meditate – for lazy people.

the brainy sayward from bonzai aphrodite (where i got the above photo) wrote a great article on misconceptions about juicing. if you are still on the fence about getting your greens and nutrients via good ol’ juice, check this out!

jen saunders shared wonderful thoughts on how to notice when you are happy. i really enjoyed the article and it prompted me to write a little list of what/where/who makes me happy.

and last but not least, i finally saw the trailer for the feature film from youtube, life in a day. oh my goodness, it looks so inspirational and beautiful and incredible…i can’t wait to see it!

have a wonderful week!

hello loves!

i am writing this motivational monday post quite late since we just got back home from seeing my cousin’s band play a show. they are called the upside down and if you like good ol’ rock and roll, you should check them out!

ok, here is what has inspired me this week:

this lentil soup with ras el hannout from avocado bravado looks great. i am always a sucker for a good lentil soup and ras el hannout is a longtime favorite spice blend of mine.

these magical photographs from simen johan’s majestic beasts exhibition. it’s amazing how nature can take your breath away.

the wonderful leonie from goddess guidebook made this joyous video about falling asleep while meditating. she is so right!

and i will leave you with one of my most beloved poems from rumi:

the guest house

this being human is a guest house.
every morning a new arrival.

a joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.

welcome and entertain them all!
even if they’re a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
he may be clearing you out
for some new delight.

the dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.

be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.
