Motivational Monday!

Happy Monday readers!

Hope your week has started off in the most wonderful way. Today was the first visit of my new weekly acupuncture plan (which, for a needle-phobic gal like me was not so fun) but I am super excited for all the healing that is taking place in my life! Yay!

Here are some goodies I have collected from the web for ya:

Life According to Celia has started a great soup club and this 10-minute couscous soup (sans goat cheese) would be perfect for a chilly November night.

Tara Mohr wrote an inspiring post on Ten Rules for Brilliant Women. Right on!

Bliss is one of my absolute favorite blogs (her “my happy place” posts make this domestic heart skip a beat) and this quinoa with roasted chanterelles, apples and squash recipe looks amazing. Here’s to more food posts on non-food blogs!

This DIY pumpkin body moisturizer (courtesy of Vegan Beauty Review) is a delicious way to take extra care of yourself during this dry season.

Ever wonder what a little daytime shuteye can do for you? Check out this infographic with everything you need to know about napping!

And I will leave you with an impressive + beautiful cover of “Call Your Girlfriend.” Swoon.

Have a glorious week!

motivational mondays!

happy monday!

it was one of those rainy days that made me feel super grateful for not having to leave the house today. i am fighting a little cold so i made a peppermint steam for myself and listened to some meditation podcasts. i also made some juice but without a bonafide juicer, it just doesn’t come out as strong and sweet as it should.

so on to the fun stuff!

this article from piper larson on how to sing loudly in life was truly inspirational.

the vegan stoner has to be one of the most ADORABLE food blogs. i mean, look at it! i can’t wait to try this quinoa recipe this week (especially since strawberries are 75 cents a crate right now!)

just a little reminder of how powerful you can be!

tiny buddha (which is one of my new favorite sites) wrote an insightful article about judging others and what it can show you about yourself.

and i will leave you with a great quote:

“throw your dreams into space like a kite,

& you do not know what it will bring back,

a new life, a new friend, a new love, a new country.”
