Hello and happy Monday readers!
I personally LOVE Mondays, since it is a chance for a fresh start and the day where I feel the most ready and willing to kick some serious BUTT!
Some things that have perked me up lately:
Kathy over at Happy Healthy Life posted about the fabulous grain farro, this time as a sweet substitute for oatmeal! I have so much farro around the house (don’t ask) so using it in a new way is perfect.
This green goddess bowl from The Healthy Hipster is exactly what I have been craving. Seasoned tofu (as a treat, people!), warm and fluffy grains with some creamy dressing? Yes, please!
And speaking of treats, this oldie but goodie recipe for polka dot bread from Chocolate-Covered Katie is on the agenda for tomorrow. My husband and I both have the day off, so I imagine this bread for breakfast while we watch Portlandia.
No More Dirty Looks posted about the top ten ways to use aloe vera. Some were simple (sunburn relief), some were helpful (shaving cream alternative) and some were downright creative (um, hello all-natural lube?)
And if you really want to knock the socks off of someone special, this homemade vegan sweet potato ravioli from Petite Kitchenesse will definitely do the trick. With coconut and roasted chili, this looks SO DELICIOUS!
Hope you have a great week folks!
