Hey there friends! Hope your week is off to a great start. Taking the weekend to just relax was just what I needed. It is amazing what a little down time can do.
I just got home and I am bundled up in layers (our heat isn’t working great), with some Moroccan mint tea + the leftovers of the most amazing vegan cinnabon (topped with hazelnut frosting + chocolate chip cookie dough!)
Here are some fun online goodies:
If you are wanting an easy holiday treat to bring to a party, these peppermint bark cups from i heart wellness are perfect!
Speaking of the holidays, Mind Body Green has 12 great tips to stay healthy during the holidays.
Although the picture is small, the flavor from these no-bake vegan nut + seed bars from hol : fit is HUGE! I love these and when I make them on a Sunday, the rest of the week is a whole lot yummier.
The publishing house that I used to work for, Haymarket Books is having a HUGE sale to celebrate the Occupy movement! Maybe you want to pick up Ecology and Socialism: Solutions to a Capitalist Ecological Crisis or Stuffed and Starved: The Hidden Battle for the World Food System? All titles are 40% off when you use the promo code “OCCUPY40″!
This apple cinnamon granola (which can be easily veganized by subbing the honey for maple syrup) from The Rockstar Diaries is the cutest idea for a holiday party gift! I think I will make some for my neighborhood’s postal worker 🙂
