Happy Friday lovely ones,
Phew, this weekend couldn’t come soon enough. Between doctor visits, back pain + more flea issues, we have been hanging on by a thin thread lately. I am really looking forward to this weekend, spending time relaxing, sleeping in and having a few coffee dates 🙂
I started reading The Artist’s Way this week and I am already in love! It is such an inspiring read and I feel that it really came to me at the right time in my life. No matter who you are, there is a creative spirit that needs to shine through, in whichever way makes you happy!
One of the weekly assignments is to take yourself on an “artist’s date”. This date could be to anywhere and doesn’t have to cost a lot of money (or any at all). The main purpose of this assignment is to give yourself time alone to experience the world + feel replenished in your soul.
Here are some highlights from this week’s date:
best use for an old washing machine
feeling so proud of this radical bay
a cactus peeking over to say hi!
a part of my heart was left in the mission
And i will leave you with a clip of a show we went to recently. The band is called Damada and they are one of the most unusual + interesting groups I have ever heard!
You can watch it HERE.
Have a fantastic weekend!
